From 2023-2024, the Saint Paul Office of Financial Empowerment (OFE) engaged 10Seven, a wealth justice organization, to create a Traumagraph™ of Saint Paul that maps incidents of financial trauma across the city. The Traumagraph™ enables us to recognize the harm existing financial institutions and systems can inflict and devise solutions for collective healing from financial trauma.

WealthRise® In Community programming, developed by 10Seven’s sister organization BlackFem, is an exciting outcome of our research that mapped the geographic spread of financial trauma in Saint Paul. Informed by data from the Traumagraph™ and the lived experiences of Saint Paul residents, this program provides financial education through a trauma-informed, justice-oriented lens that our community partners can use.
